Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking Environmental Services staff for a 40-hour work week on a day shift (7:00am-3:30pm) with rotating weekends and holidays. The role entails cleaning, equipment sanitation, bed moves, and transporting linen across the hospital.

Applicants must understand infection control procedures, be able to read/write and follow directions in English at the 12th grade level, and be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining overall cleanliness of environment of assigned areas.

• Collect soiled linen from clinical locations throughout the hospital.
• Transports full linen carts to designated distribution locations throughout the hospital.

Pay Range:

$17.69 - $27.44

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
