Job summary

Padre Hotel in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a meticulous housekeeping team member to uphold our cleanliness standards and contribute to an excellent guest experience. Rate of pay is $16.90 per hour with flexible schedules to meet business needs.

You will deliver linens and supplies, respond to guest requests, and help maintain rooms to Padre Hotel’s 4‑Diamond standard. The historic property opened in 1928 and now offers dining, events and boutique hospitality.

Qualifications

• Preferably 1-2 years experience in Hospitality/ Housekeeping.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle busy periods.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities at the same time.
• Flexible availability is required for this position (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)

Responsibilities

• Deliver linens, toiletries, and supplies to housekeeping room attendants.
• Completing guest requests in a timely manner and in accordance to Padre Hotel service standards.
• Ensure that special requests for cleanliness, maintenance and appearance of guest rooms are met.
• Proper use and storage of supplies and tools
• Report any and all maintenance issues to proper department or supervisor
• Ensure customer experience meets or exceeds expectations. Handle customers' concerns and requests with a positive attitude.
• Notify supervisor if any items are in low inventory
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct.
• Ensures the proper maintenance of all department related equipment
• Other duties may be assigned by the Housekeeping Manager, Hotel Manager, General Manager.
