Job summary

Kansas Health System at Strawberry Hill Campus is seeking a Part-Time Housekeeper I to maintain clean and safe environments across patient rooms, offices, and common areas. The role requires commitment to a part-time schedule and supports hospital operations with attention to detail and teamwork.

The position includes Thursday 7am-3:30pm, Friday 7am-3:30pm and Saturday 9am-1pm, with emphasis on professional conduct and adherence to hospital policies.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• 1 or more years of experience in hospital housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Maintains premises in a clean and orderly manner.
• Cleans offices, patient rooms, common areas, lavatories, halls, food service areas and other areas that may require attention.
• Cleans light fixtures, ceilings, vents, mattresses, furniture, window coverings, floors and carpets.
• Cleans by dusting, mopping, vacuuming and sweeping.
• Replenishes supplies.
• Moves furniture, hangs draperies and set up tables and chairs.
• Promotes effective teamwork.
• Displays professional behavior and positive attitude at all times.
• Adheres to organizational policies and procedures.
• Effectively manages hospital resources (time, supplies, equipment, etc.).
• Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
