Job summary

Pruitthealth Corporation is seeking a Housekeeper HCC to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The role follows facility policies and infection control standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, dusting surfaces, changing curtains, and assisting with linen and waste removal as part of a team dedicated to quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous healthcare housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, damp mop, and wet mop tile floors; may spray buff, strip, or wax floors following center procedures, including the use of wet floor signs.
• Vacuum carpeted rooms as applicable.
• Empty trash cans, clean exterior and interior, and replace with a clean liner.
• Clean bathroom sinks, fixtures, and toilets following center procedures.
• Clean glass surfaces such as mirrors, pictures, and windows.
• Clean behind and underneath furnishings.
• Follow infection control standards while performing cleaning.
• Prevent or remove wax/dirt buildup in corners, around baseboards, and in doorways.
• Change soiled privacy curtains and draperies for outside windows as needed.
• Remove and re‑hang curtains and draperies for outside windows using a ladder.
• Dust or damp‑clean surfaces in patient/resident rooms (furniture, bed frames, windowsills, etc.) following center procedures and using wet floor signs.
• Move furniture to clean behind or underneath according to center procedures.

Education

Provides cleaning services to create a safe, sanitary, comfortable, and homelike environment for residents, staff, and the public. Housekeeping services are provided in accordance with facility policies and procedures and comply with state and federal laws and regulations, enhancing the quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

Minimum experience required: None. On‑job training is provided.

Additional Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous experience with healthcare housekeeping or environmental services (preferred).
