Aiken Regional Medical Centers is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and order throughout the facility. The role supports patient care by keeping patient rooms, offices and common areas tidy and hygienic.

Responsibilities include safely handling cleaning equipment and chemicals, following established safety standards, and performing other duties as assigned to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Must be able to use housekeeping equipment safely (vacuum, buffers, mops).
• Customer service skills are important.

Responsabilités

• Clean offices, patient rooms, classrooms, common areas, lavatories, halls and food service areas.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, polish floors and vacuum hallways and stairs.
• Properly and safely use cleaning chemicals per standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Position Description:

This individual cleans and keeps the hospital environment in an orderly condition.

Duties:

• Cleans offices, patient rooms, offices, classrooms, common areas, lavatories, halls, food service areas and any other areas that may require attention.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, polishes floors and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space.
• Will be required to properly and safely use cleaning chemicals per given standards.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
