• We have an opening for a full-time and part-time HOUSEKEEPER position.
• Location: MAX Ultimate Food - 65 East Cottage Street, Boston, MA 02125. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules; Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Job Summary

Summary: Performs light cleaning duties to maintain establishments, including hotels, restaurants, and hospitals, in a clean and orderly manner. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops, and polishes floors.
• Vacuums carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoos carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings.
• Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empties and cleans trash containers.
• Disposes of trash hygienically.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipes down glass surfaces.
• Makes beds and changes linens as needed.
• Realigns furniture and amenities per layout.
• Responds to guest queries and requests.
• Handles housekeeping issues like spills and broken glasses.
• Contributes to team efforts and maintains professionalism.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
