Job Description: Housekeeper

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Housekeeper positions at Crothall Healthcare.

Location: Steere House Nursing and Rehab Center - 100 Borden Street, Providence, RI 02903. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, days may vary; some weekends included. More details upon interview.

Requirements: Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required. Willing to train!

Pay Range: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Perform light cleaning duties to maintain establishments, including hotels, restaurants, and hospitals, ensuring a clean and orderly environment. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash hygienically.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make beds and change linens as needed.
• Realign furniture and amenities per layout.
• Respond to guest queries and housekeeping issues.
• Contribute to team efforts; exhibit professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
