TouchPoint Housekeeper Job Description

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time HOUSEKEEPER positions at Alexian Brother's, located at 800 Biesterfield Road, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules are available. Days may vary from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, including every other weekend. More details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: No experience necessary.

Pay Range: $16.50 to $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Performs light cleaning duties to maintain establishments, including hotels, restaurants, and hospitals. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops, and polishes floors.
• Vacuums carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoos carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings.
• Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empties and cleans trash containers.
• Disposes of trash hygienically.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipes down glass surfaces.
• Makes beds and changes linens as needed.
• Realigns furniture and amenities.
• Responds to guest queries and housekeeping requests.
• Contributes to team efforts and maintains professionalism.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
