We are looking for a dedicated housekeeper to join our team! As a Benchmark housekeeper, your main role will be to maintain a safe and clean community environment for residents, associates, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include laundering towels, bed linens, and resident laundry, as well as maintaining the upkeep of resident apartments.

Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly clean all assigned resident apartments as scheduled by the supervisor, including:
  • Bathrooms: toilet bowls, sinks, bathtubs, wiping countertops and mirrors, sterilizing floors
  • Kitchen: wiping counters and under objects, mopping kitchen floors
  • Vacuum all exposed areas completely, including edges
  • Empty and rinse wastebaskets as needed
  • Wash inside windows as required
  • Clean all common areas according to standards, including elevators, halls, landings, stairs, resident activity areas, lobbies, and model units, as well as other flat surfaces as scheduled or requested
  • Maintain a clean laundry room in an orderly manner and store chemicals in accordance with product or supervisor instructions

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred
  • Experience in cleaning residential or commercial settings is preferred, but training will be provided
  • Understanding of proper handling of biohazardous waste
