Hours: Full Time 3:30p-12a with a requirement of every other weekend and every other holiday.

Housekeepers are a part of our frontline infection prevention team. This position provides the best care and service to our patients, customers, colleagues, and the communities that we serve. Our goal is to ensure a clean and orderly environment for all who come through our doors. Housekeepers play a meaningful role in cleaning and sanitizing various spaces in our facilities, including patient units, office areas, clinics, treatment/procedural areas, and public spaces, using various supplies and cleaning equipment. Minimum requirements include:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
• The ability to clean areas requiring technical cleaning, including IR/Cardiac Cath/Mother-Baby/NICU/OR/ED
• The ability to operate light floor equipment for cleaning floors in patient care areas
• The ability to lift and transport patients in case of emergency
• Physical ability to reach, stand for long periods, squat, bend, carry, and lift supplies and equipment weighing up to 80% of the time, including lifting 35 lbs or more
• The ability to climb ladders
• Ability to wear protective equipment such as gowns, gloves, goggles, and closed-toe footwear
• Indiana driver’s license and proof of insurance
• No experience required
