Cleans walls, lights, fixtures, and furniture in all assigned areas of the hospital to maintain an aseptic environment and prevent healthcare-associated infection using standard cleaning procedures and chemicals. Cleans, waxes, extracts, and maintains floors, carpeting, and stairwells and assists with heavy cleaning throughout the hospital.
Education & Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Work Experience: 1 year hospital housekeeping experience

Ability to receive, comprehend, and carry out instructions; ability to work safely with equipment, supplies, and materials; ability to comply with attendance requirements; ability to comply with Human Resource policies. Ability to proactively prioritize needs and effectively manage resources; guide individuals and groups toward desired outcomes, set high performance standards and deliver quality services. Ability to establish and maintain long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations. Able to work with diverse workforce.
