The Housekeeper performs terminal cleaning of rooms after patients are discharged. The Housekeeper also cleans nursing units, surgical areas, offices, labs, waiting areas, and public restrooms. Job duties include making beds, emptying trash, wiping equipment, cleaning furniture, polishing floors, vacuuming carpets, cleaning restrooms, laundering hospital linen, conducting daily inspection and inventory of housekeeping equipment, and other duties as assigned.
