Job description

Chandler Place Independent Living, a community of Navion Senior Living, is looking to hire a housekeeper to maintain a first-class community environment in a high-quality senior living setting. The goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for residents and their families, which is vital for maintaining and enhancing our reputation.

This is a full-time position on 1st shift, offering an opportunity to join a dedicated team. Chandler Place has partnered with Tapcheck, a revolutionary mobile app that allows team members to access their earned wages instantly, empowering employees with more financial control.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas, ensuring standards are met or exceeded.
  • Manage community laundry, including collecting, cleaning, and redistributing.
  • Collaborate with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and promote risk management programs and policies.
  • Practice safety procedures at all times, including the use of PPE, fire extinguishers, MSDS, and Lockout Tagout procedures.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper preferred.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as irons, washers & dryers, brooms, mops, vacuums, etc.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain high performance standards.
  • Capable of handling standardized situations with minimal variables.
  • Knowledge of safe chemical and equipment use, including basic math conversions.
  • Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality.
  • Basic proficiency in reading and communicating in English.
