Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned work areas in a clean, safe, sanitary, and attractive manner, following infection control and universal precautions.
• Ensure supplies are available and equipment is cleaned and stored properly.
• Report and replace malfunctioning lights and fixtures.
• Clean and polish the community including windows, walls, ceilings, furnishings, fixtures, and floors.
• Perform floor care including stripping, waxing, buffing, vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
• Complete thorough cleaning of rooms before admission or after discharge.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in long-term care or with geriatric populations preferred
