Job summary

ICFAI is seeking a Housekeeper to clean and service all areas of the hospital and campus facilities, arranging furniture in an orderly fashion and keeping equipment and storage areas organized. The role does not involve access to patient health information but may involve medication storage areas as related to duties.

Shift: 8 AM start, including every weekend. Requires the ability to read and write, follow written and oral directions, and operate cleaning equipment such as a vacuum cleaner;

Qualifications

• Must read and write and follow written and oral directions.
• Cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Employees receive on-the-job training.
• Must know how to use cleaning equipment (i.e. vacuum cleaner).
• Ability to clean blood and body fluids.
• Ability to clean furniture, windows, restrooms, walls and dust mop and damp mop hard surface floors.
• Must be able to replenish all paper supplies, waste can liners and handle hazardous chemicals correctly.
