Job summary

The Waters in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and guests. You will clean common areas, support apartments, and collaborate with Maintenance to ensure hospitality standards are met.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (preferred), compassion for elderly care, and strong communication. Prior related experience is welcome but not required; training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in a related position preferred but not required.
• Possess compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service, and excellence in elderly care.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
• Ability to be detailed oriented.

Responsibilities

• Cleans all common areas according to standards and practices, including restrooms, dining rooms, elevators, hallways, landings, stairs, railings, light fixtures, resident activity areas, and lobby.
• Cleans all assigned resident apartments.
• Works as a team with maintenance to take accountability for the building; monitor the look, smell, cleanliness, and maintenance of all spaces.
• Submits maintenance work orders to the Environmental Services team as needed.
• Notifies Environmental Services Manager when supplies are diminishing.
• Maintains a clean, orderly laundry room and stores chemicals in accordance with product or supervisor instruction.
• Other duties as assigned.
