Job summary

Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel in Milwaukee invites applications for a Housekeeper to prepare rooms for the next guests, clean and restock amenities, and help keep all areas of the hotel neat, tidy, and welcoming.

The role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays, with physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, and a professional, courteous appearance. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, with meal per shift and employee discounts across Marcus Hotels & Resorts.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel housekeeping or similar roles is preferred.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical stamina for repetitive tasks and lifting up to 50 lbs.

What you will be doing:

• Perform bed-making, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, dusting, trash removal, and amenity restocking.
• Restock supply cart for the next day.
• Assist with team projects and perform additional assigned duties as needed.

What we are looking for:

• Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays and the ability to work under pressure.
• Previous experience in the same or a similar position such as a guest room attendant, cleaner, or other housekeeping, cleaning in hotels, hospitals, casinos or residential are preferred.
• Physical stamina to complete repetitive manual labor tasks.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and or carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to represent the company in a professional, well-groomed and courteous manner.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, grasp, stretch, and use a vacuum and push a cart on a regular and extended basis.
