You will perform routine cleaning, change linens, sanitize bathrooms, report safety hazards, and support housekeeping projects while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean common areas, resident rooms, and offices by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.

Job Purpose:- The Housekeeper at OVATION COMMUNITIES is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This full-time position requires a dedicated individual who takes pride in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are consistently met.Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in common areas, resident rooms, and offices.- Ensure all bathrooms are sanitized and stocked with necessary supplies.- Change linens and make beds in resident rooms according to schedule.- Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with community guidelines.- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleaning tasks as assigned.- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.- Communicate effectively with residents and staff to address any specific cleaning needs or concerns.Required Education:- High school diploma or equivalent.Required Experience:- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles preferred.- Experience working in a healthcare or senior living environment is a plus.Required Skills and Abilities:- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.- Good communication skills to interact with residents and staff.- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.- Knowledge of cleaning products and safe handling procedures.- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
