Summary/Objective: Provides daily housekeeping services to ensure a safe, clean, and sanitary environment in accordance with laws, regulations, and facility guidelines.

Essential Functions:

• Provides daily housekeeping duties as assigned per Standard Operating Procedures.
• Follows daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Cleans floors, furnishings, fixtures, and public spaces throughout the facility.
• Removes trash and disinfects waste containers.
• Performs cleaning and disinfecting of restrooms and other areas.
• Maintains knowledge of federal, state, and facility rules and procedures.
• Participates in educational programs and follows safety protocols.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Customer service-oriented and professional.
• Knowledge of safety practices and resident rights.
• General knowledge of housekeeping and infection prevention.

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs, work throughout the facility, and handle exposure to odors, infectious diseases, and other hazards. The position involves standing, walking, reaching, bending, and working with chemicals.

Position Details: Hourly, with shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements: Ability to read, write, and speak English; high school diploma preferred; at least 1 year of housekeeping experience in healthcare preferred.

Additional Qualifications: Effective communication skills, manual dexterity, flexibility, patience, and willingness to work in emergency situations.
