Prairieview Lutheran Homes in Danforth, IL is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to keep resident rooms and common areas clean, safe and inviting. You will perform cleaning, floor care, stocking supplies and related duties as assigned to meet our service standards.

The position requires dependable, detail-oriented individuals who communicate well with residents and staff. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and you should be capable of handling multiple priorities with a professional

# Housekeeper - Full-timePrairieview Lutheran Homes - Danforth, IL 60930## OverviewSalary Range$15.00 - $17.00 HourlyJob ShiftDay## Description**Overall Summary**The Housekeeper is responsible for performing housekeeping functions in order to create a safe, secure, and inviting environment for residents, families and team members while meeting and exceeding Prairieview Lutheran Homes service standards.**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**1. Demonstrates knowledge of department policies and procedures2. Demonstrates knowledge and efficient use of cleaning techniques, solutions, equipment and tools3. Perform all cleaning, floor care and project assignments within the area of responsibility or as directed by a supervisor4. Perform related services, such as bed moves, changing mattresses, stocking supplies, etc.5. Maintains high standards and works steadily at an efficient pace6. Interacts friendly and supportively with staff, patients, visitors and coworkers7. Maintains equipment, tools and storage areas in a clean, orderly and good operating condition8. Respects all property of Prairieview Lutheran Homes9. Responds rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, special needs, spills, etc.10. Accepts suggestions and direction from supervisors and staff11. Honors department’s attendance, break, behavior, dress and safety codes.12. Accepts and absorbs department education programs13. Exercises good judgment while working around patients and visitors14.
