Job Summary

Performs light cleaning duties to maintain establishments such as hospitals, hotels, and restaurants in a clean and orderly manner. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops, and polishes floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoos carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings.
• Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empties and cleans trash containers and disposes of trash hygienically.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipes down glass surfaces.
• Makes beds and changes linens as needed.
• Realigns furniture and amenities according to layout.
• Responds to guest queries and housekeeping requests, including spills and broken items.
• Contributes to team efforts and maintains professionalism.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
