We are hiring immediately for full-time HOUSEKEEPER positions at HSHS St Mary's Hospital, Decatur, IL. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, 5 days a week, with rotating weekends. More details provided during interview.

Requirements: Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Job Summary

Performs light cleaning duties to maintain hospital environments, including making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean metal fixtures, empty trash, and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, showers, and glass surfaces.
• Make beds, change linens, and realign furniture as needed.
• Respond to guest requests and housekeeping issues.
• Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
