Summary of Duties
Perform daily housekeeping activities to ensure that the Community is maintained in a clean and safe manner.
Essential Job Functions
- Perform day-to-day housekeeping activities according to daily work assignments.
- Coordinate housekeeping services with management during routine cleaning in resident and recreational areas.
- Clean and polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, and room heating/cooling units in resident rooms and recreational areas.
- Sanitize and clean bathroom fixtures, removing water marks.
- Clean windows and mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and entrances/exits.
- Wash, wipe, dust, disinfect, and deodorize walls and ceilings.
- Remove dirt, dust, grease, and film from surfaces using proper cleaning solutions.
- Dispose of waste properly and re-line trash receptacles.
- Notify supervisor of supply needs.
- Clean and store work and supply carts at the end of each shift.
- Perform additional duties or special projects as directed by the supervisor.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. One (1) year of experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to move throughout the workday.
- Ability to reach, bend, and stoop intermittently.
- Stand or walk for 75% of the day.
- Push, pull, or move a minimum of 100 pounds with proper mechanics.
- Adequate vision and hearing or use of prosthetics to perform job functions.
