Job summary

River Dunes Marina & Harbor Club is seeking housekeepers for part-time and full-time roles to maintain cleanliness throughout all member and guest outlets, including accommodations, club house, fitness facility, restaurants, and public spaces. Responsibilities also include stocking housekeeping supplies for daily operations.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of related experience, basic computer skills, strong communication, and a safety-conscious approach to work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year related experience in housekeeping or custodial.
• Hospitality or property management experience is a plus.
• Basic MS Office and ability to learn management software.
• Knowledge of safety rules and occupational hazards.
• Strong communication and writing skills; ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness across all member and guest outlets including accommodations, club house, fitness, restaurants, retail, public areas and exterior spaces.
• Ensure housekeeping and janitorial stock and supplies are prepared for daily operations.
• Follow safety policies and operating procedures and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with owners, guests and staff to support service goals.

Job description

River Dunes Marina & Harbor Club is looking for Housekeepers both part time and full time. River Dunes Marina & Harbor Club boasts 14 miles of pristine waterfront, award-winning coastal architecture and a top-rated marina, situated in an unparalleled location on the Pamlico Sound, Intracoastal Waterway and the mouth of the Neuse River.

This position is responsible for cleanliness throughout all membership and guest outlets at River Dunes including accommodations, club house, fitness facility, restaurants, retail locations, public areas, and exterior public spaces (walkways, etc.). This position will also be responsible for ensuring the housekeeping and janitorial responsibilities of the property are properly stocked and prepared for daily operations.

Education, Experience and Knowledge

• Minimum one (1) year related experience in housekeeping, custodial, janitorial, or related field. Experience and/or training in a similar position in hospitality or property management industry; preferably in a luxury setting is a plus.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills including the ability to understand other computer programs (i.e. property management software, security camera system, fob system, and housekeeping scheduling systems) in a computer-based environment is a plus.
• General knowledge of occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions associated with work.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals and adhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos and oral instruction.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective and courteous relationships and effectively communicate with other employees, owners, guests and other business contacts.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing, maintain good active listening skills and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Must be available weekdays, weekends and holidays.
