Overview

This position starts out at $16.00 an hour and offers benefits for both full-time and part-time employees. The scheduled hours are from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm with rotating weekends off.

The responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing occupied spaces such as patient units, office areas, clinics, treatment/procedural areas, and public spaces using various supplies and cleaning equipment. It also involves removing refuse and soiled linens.

Minimum requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to clean areas requiring technical cleaning, including IR/Cardiac Cath/Mother-Baby/NICU/OR/ED.
• Ability to operate light floor equipment for cleaning floors in patient care areas.
• Must be able to lift and transport patients in case of emergency.
• Physical requirements include reaching, standing for long periods, squatting, bending, and carrying/lifting supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs. or more, up to 80% of the time.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing as required by the environment or regulations, such as gowns, gloves, goggles, and rubber-soled closed-toe footwear.
• Indiana driver's license and proof of insurance.
• No experience required.
