Job summary

Epworth Villa in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a patient Housekeeper to maintain clean resident apartments and common areas. Join a faith-based, non-profit Life Plan Community with a mission to enhance lives so people thrive.

You’ll work on a team to ensure spaces are fresh, inviting, and safe, supporting residents’ comfort and sense of home each day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Comfortable speaking and writing in English.
• Able to follow safety and cleanliness procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
• Maintain residents’ apartments on a set schedule.
• Dust, move furniture, and clean carpets, rugs, upholstery, and draperies.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets, sweep, vacuum, and mop floors.
• Transport trash and waste to disposal areas.
• Restock bathroom supplies.
• Perform emergency pull-cord testing.

Starting Pay:$14+/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Full Time--Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM and Saturday through Wednesday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

Part Time---Friday, Saturday, Sunday 8:00-4:30

What You’ll Do

As part of our Housekeeping Team, you’ll ensure that resident apartments and community spaces are fresh, clean, and inviting. Your work makes a real difference every day.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
• Previous housekeeping experience a plus
• Comfortable speaking and writing in English
• Able to follow safety and cleanliness procedures
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand for long periods, and handle heavier items as part of daily duties
