Job summary

Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel, part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to make guests feel at home by cleaning, restocking and preparing rooms for new arrivals in Milwaukee's Theater District.

You'll work varied shifts, handle stay-overs, bed-making, vacuuming and bathroom cleaning, with a focus on attention to detail and professional presentation. We offer perks like meals, room discounts, and health benefits after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends, holidays and under pressure.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or related roles preferred (hotels/hospitality).
• Physical stamina for repetitive tasks and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Professional, well-groomed and courteous demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Service stay-over rooms, change linens and replenish amenities.
• Thoroughly clean check-out rooms with attention to detail.
• Perform bed-making, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, dusting, trash removal and restocking.
• Restock supply cart for the next day and assist with team projects as needed.

What you will be doing:

• Ensure prompt, superior service to guests.
• Service stay-over rooms, changing linens and replenishing amenities.
• Thoroughly clean check-out rooms, paying attention to detail.
• Perform bed-making, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, dusting, trash removal, and amenity restocking.
• Restock supply cart for the next day.
• Assist with team projects and perform additional assigned duties as needed.

What we are looking for:

• Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays and the ability to work under pressure.
• Previous experience in the same or a similar position such as a guest room attendant, cleaner, or other housekeeping, cleaning in hotels, hospitals, casinos or residential are preferred.
• Physical stamina to complete repetitive manual labor tasks.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and or carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to represent the company in a professional, well-groomed and courteous manner.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, grasp, stretch, and use a vacuum and push a cart on a regular and extended basis.
