Job summary

Westminster Point Pleasant, a waterfront life plan retirement community near downtown Bradenton, is hiring experienced housekeepers. The role includes cleaning residences, Health Center rooms, and common areas, with a focus on sanitation and resident comfort.

Qualifying candidates will have a high school education, willingness to vaccinate for flu, and experience with older adults in healthcare settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent; up to one month related experience or training.
• Vaccination: Must be willing to receive annual influenza vaccine.
• Experience: Preferably 6 months of experience with older adults in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Clean residential units, resident rooms and common areas (incl. stairwells).
• Sanitize Health Center rooms after move-out or prior to move-in.
• Send or bring protectors to the laundry area after resident use during each meal.
• Maintain dining areas cleaned and sanitized at least twice daily.
• Cleaning, dusting, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming daily of assigned areas.
• Garbage removal including biohazards removal by contracted vendor.
• Perform cleaning duties for residents as contracted.
