As the Facilities Porter/Housekeeper at The Golf Club at Newcastle , you will perform duties related to providing outstanding guest experiences and general cleaning & sanitation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must uphold a clean and orderly appearance and be dressed in uniform at the start of each shift.
• Assist in maintaining a clean environment including picking up trash in visible areas and eliminating clutter.
• Clean floors: sweep, dust, wet mop, scrub, or vacuum.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms: toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, floors, trash, lockers, etc.
• Wet mop, strip, wax, seal, and buff floors.
• Trash pick-up and removal; take to a designated dumping area.
• Wash windows.
• Vacuum, spot clean, and shampoo carpets.
• Dust and clean light fixtures and blinds.
• Keep janitorial closets clean and orderly.
• Insure and maintain the working order of all furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Maintain a clean score greater than 90%.
• Initiate contact with guests within 15 feet with a sincere welcome and the willingness to assist the guest. At the conclusion of the guest’s visit, offer a genuine thank you and invitation to return.
• Go “above and beyond” to open doors for guests, walk with the guest, and help carry the load for any guests or team members.
• Always yield to the guest.
• Maintain knowledge of all property access points and all emergency procedures and contacts.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or equivalency.
• Knowledge of cleaning solutions and janitorial equipment.
• Work as a member of a team.

COMPENSATION DETAILS:

• Offered rate of pay range: $18.00 - $ 20.00 per hour
• Eligible for overtime
