Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring common areas, including guest restrooms, are clean, neat, and odor-free.
- Laundering residence linens, towels, sheets, and other items as scheduled and needed.
- Laundering residents' personal clothes, sheets, and towels according to schedule.
- Keeping residents' personal items separate and returning them promptly after laundering.
- Assisting with other duties as assigned.
- Maintaining an organized housekeeping cart with all needed items.
Additional duties include:
- Cleaning common areas and residents' rooms/apartments per schedule, including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning glass surfaces, and disinfecting.
- Sanitizing and disinfecting soiled utility bins and organizing laundry areas and storage closets.
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA, MSDS, and residence policies.
- Properly storing and labeling hazardous cleaning products.
- Performing physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, and reaching, with safety measures.
Physical requirements for an eight-hour day include:
- Standing/walking up to eight hours
- Sitting up to two hours
- Supporting up to 70 pounds frequently
- Lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds frequently
- Kneeling, bending, reaching
