Job summary

Carle Health in Urbana, IL seeks a cleaning specialist to maintain a clean, safe environment across units including NICU, L&D, CCU, ED and OR. You will perform routine surface cleaning, floor care and respond to spill incidents to support patient care and infection control.

Experience with USP 800 and chemical spill response is preferred. You must follow life-safety codes, practice proper hand hygiene, and handle biohazards and sharps safely.

• Perform light floor care such as buffing and spotting carpet.
• Follow life safety codes and infection control practices.
• Handle chemical/medicine spill cleaning per USP 800.
• Use AIDET in patient rooms and manage biohazard spills safely.
• Proficient in handling biohazards including sharps and body fluid spills.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $16.45per hour - $26.65per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health.
