We are hiring a Full-Time Housekeeper (Environmental Services Technician) in Boise!

Shift Details: Evening shift (Monday - Friday, 3pm-11:30pm, plus every other weekend) at our Regional Medical Center, located off I-184 and Curtis Rd.

Position Overview: As a Housekeeper, you will contribute to a positive patient and family experience by cleaning and disinfecting hospital areas to prevent infections, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining visual appeal. Responsibilities include preparing patient rooms, replenishing supplies, cleaning floors, making beds, and handling medical-related waste. You may also perform specialized cleaning tasks such as carpet and refrigerator cleaning.

Ideal Candidate: Self-motivated, trainable, friendly, able to maintain confidentiality, knowledgeable about cleaning chemicals, and compliant with safety standards. Comfortable working around blood and bodily fluids with PPE. The role requires frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, and twisting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Effective communication with staff, patients, and visitors for directions, information, and services.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions, communicate via telephone, and coordinate tasks with peers.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
