Southwestern Vermont Health Care (SVHC) seeks a housekeeper/environmental services technician for Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC). The role emphasizes maintaining a clean, safe environment in patient areas and corridors, joining a team using a standardized seven-step cleaning process and proper lifting techniques.

Training enables technicians to operate the required equipment and computer resources while cross-training into all housekeeper roles.

Position Summary

Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC) seeks a housekeeper/environmental services technician. The person in this position is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in all patient areas and corridors. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a responsive, detail-oriented, and service-driven professional.

SVMC environmental services professionals work as a team using a seven-step cleaning process and cross train into all housekeeper roles. We use equipment properly to keep patient areas, offices, and corridors safe. Through training, housekeepers learn to use the required computer resources and proper lifting/working procedures.
