Job summary

NEW EARTH RESIDENTIAL LLC is seeking a Housekeeper/Cleaner to support community operations. The role involves cleaning offices and common areas, trash removal, restroom maintenance, and preparing spaces for events with attention to safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and a strong customer-service mindset. Bi-lingual applicants are encouraged, and training is available for those with housekeeping experience.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent and professional knowledge of business discipline are required.
  • Ability to follow detailed oral/written instructions.
  • Leader who consistently delivers SUPERIOR Customer service.
  • Independent operator with the ability to independently establish priorities, manage time effectively, and fulfill assigned objectives and projects.
  • Problem solver with the ability to respond to and resolve unexpected issues and handle priority changes in a fast-moving, fluid environment.
  • Team player with good verbal and written communication skills, strong organization skills, and ability to work well with onsite staff, customers, supervisors, corporate office associates and vendors.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate, comprehend, speak, and read in English. Bi-lingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to track and inventory material and parts.
  • Ability to lift/exert 25 lbs. of force, with chemicals.
  • Prior housekeeping experience preferred but willing to train.

Responsibilities

  • Clean the office & lobby per designated schedule.
  • Gather and empty trash daily.
  • Clean, service, and supply restrooms daily.
  • Touch up clean models as per designated schedule.
  • Monitor and keep trash rooms clean after trash has been picked up.
  • Clean and polish furniture fixtures in common areas.
  • Clean low-level windows, glass partitions and mirrors.
  • Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment in fitness rooms.
  • Mix water and detergent in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
  • Steam clean or shampoo carpets as needed or per schedule.
  • Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors as required.
  • Notify Community Manager or Service supervisor concerning the need for major repair or additions in the common area and file appropriate service requests.
  • Complete appropriate requisition for supplies and equipment as needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
  • Setup, arrange and remove decorations, tables, chairs, to prepare facilities for events as needed.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing work.
  • Be courteous and pleasant to residents ensuring 5 stars service.

Hours:Typicalrange of hours is based on the community needs and may require weekends and after hour emergency services. Workdays may be adjusted based on community needs. Full Time: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (some part-time hours).

Physical Demands:Medium work (exerting 25 lbs. of force occasionally), climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing).Visual acuity to operate basic cleaning/hand tools. Subject to weather.

Drug Screens:Pre-employment,post injury, reasonable suspicion, and possible random screens.
