Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will play a vital role in upholding high standards of cleanliness and resident comfort, with opportunities to contribute to a positive care environment.

You will perform daily housekeeping tasks, adhere to infection control policies, and collaborate with staff to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• COVID-19 vaccination compliance.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
