We are seeking an enthusiastic team member to join our Housekeeping Department at Canterbury Inn!

Full-time opportunity!

Earn between $17 and $18/hour, dependent on experience!

Multiple Shifts! PT, 6AM - 2PM, 2/3 days per week including weekends; FTE, 6AM - 2PM, 5 days per week, TUES - SAT.

Who You Are

You enjoy providing exceptional cleaning services. This role involves cleaning apartments/rooms, common areas, and assisting with housekeeping supply prep and cart readiness.

What You'll Do

• Clean, polish, and disinfect assigned areas, furnishings, and fixtures
• Clean windows, walls, ceilings, and doors periodically
• Use mops, brooms, or vacuum to clean floors
• Sanitize and stock bathrooms
• Perform laundry cycles for residential and commercial needs
• Discard trash, medical waste, and recyclables
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely
• Move furniture and supplies as needed

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Experience in housekeeping and laundry
• Must be drug-free and pass screening
• Pass criminal background checks as required
