Job summary

Allure of Zion is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean and sanitary resident apartments, common areas, and facilities. You will perform daily cleaning tasks, laundry duties, and assist with resident services while ensuring privacy and dignity for residents.

This full-time position includes rotating weekends and a daytime shift. You will follow infection control procedures, safety guidelines, and dress in the approved uniform while delivering professional customer service to

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident apartments, bathrooms, and common areas according to facility schedules.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors and surfaces.
• Clean windows, mirrors, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Empty trash and replace liners in resident rooms and common areas.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces regularly.
• Maintain cleanliness of public restrooms and employee areas.
• Follow infection control and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Collect, wash, dry, fold or hang, and distribute resident and facility laundry as assigned.
• Ensure resident clothing and linens are handled with care and returned promptly.
• Report damaged linens or clothing to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry areas.
• Treat residents with dignity, respect, and compassion.
• Respond courteously to resident requests and report concerns to nursing or management staff.
• Respect resident privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Help create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors.
• Follow all facility policies, OSHA guidelines, and safety procedures.
• Properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to manufacturer instructions.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or unusual observations immediately.
• Participate in required training and staff meetings.
• Follow HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Work cooperatively with all departments to ensure a positive resident experience.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while on duty.

Housekeeper

Full-time and rotating weekends

Hours: 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Cleaning and Sanitation
