Job summary

Kadima Healthcare Rehabilitation and Nursing (Cheswick) is seeking a dependable Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility, following established procedures and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms and common areas, performing routine and terminal cleanings, and ensuring supplies are stocked. The role supports resident comfort and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, including bathrooms, floors, walls, and furniture.
• Perform routine and deep cleaning (including terminal cleaning) in resident and common areas.
• Dust, disinfect, and sanitize surfaces using approved cleaning products.
• Maintain cleanliness in utility rooms, hallways, dining areas, and public spaces.
• Respond to spills and emergencies promptly to ensure a safe environment.
• Move furniture as needed for proper cleaning and use appropriate safety signage.
• Restock housekeeping supplies and maintain an organized cart and storage areas.
• Report maintenance concerns and facility issues to the appropriate team members.
