Responsibilities

• Disinfect surfaces with approved chemicals.
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings, vents, window sills, and ledges.
• Clean reception glass and entrance windows.
• Move items for cleaning and realign for proper layout.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; perform carpet and upholstery spot cleaning.
• Collect and dispose of general trash and biohazardous waste; manage bins as needed.
• Replenish soap, sanitizer, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and related items.
• Maintain equipment and storage areas in clean, orderly condition.
• Assist with alarm systems to arm/disarm as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are hiring immediately for full‑time and part‑time HOUSEKEEPER AMBULATORY SERVICES positions at Texas Children's Pediatrics – Louetta Road, Houston, TX 77070. Online applications only.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–1:30 pm, 1:00 pm–6:00 pm, 6:00 pm–11:00 pm. Further details upon interview.

Requirement: Prior housekeeping experience required. Pay Range: $15.00–$15.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs specialized cleaning duties with the intent of disinfecting ambulatory healthcare facilities including restrooms, patient areas, exam rooms, procedure rooms, and specialty areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Disinfect surfaces with provided chemicals.
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings, vents, window sills, and ledges.
• Cleans reception glass and entrance windows.
• Moves chairs/stools, waste/linen/biohazardous bins, small equipment on wheels, scales, and other items for proper cleaning; realigns items according to recommended layout.
• Cleans floors including sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming. Performs carpet spot cleaning and upholstery spot cleaning.
• Collects and disposes of general trash and biohazardous waste. Performs routine cleaning on general trash and biohazardous waste containers.
• Replenishes soap, sanitizer, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and other items.
• Maintains equipment, tools and storage areas in clean and orderly operating condition.
• Works with alarm systems to arm and disarm.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
