Job summary

Midas Hospitality is seeking a dependable Housekeeper / Room Attendant to maintain clean, comfortable guest rooms and public spaces in our Lenexa property. You will make beds, change linens, clean bathrooms, restock towels and amenities, and support housekeeping needs to meet brand standards.

The role requires excellent time management, attention to detail, and a positive, guest-focused attitude. Prior hotel housekeeping experience is preferred, and physical stamina is needed to lift up to 40

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms to brand standards, including beds, linens, bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and amenities.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and ensure supplies, linens, and cleaning products are stocked and organized.
• Remove trash and recyclables from guest rooms, hallways, and designated areas.
• Provide friendly and professional assistance to guests and respond to requests in a timely manner.
• Report guest concerns or service issues to leadership to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Notify maintenance staff of any equipment issues or repairs.
• Follow lost and found procedures and maintain guest privacy and security.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions or hazards.
• Follow all hotel safety policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

As a Housekeeper / Room Attendant, you will help maintain the cleanliness, comfort, and presentation of guest rooms and assigned hotel areas.

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel and brand standards, including making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing towels and guest amenities.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and ensure supplies, linens, and cleaning products are properly stocked and organized.
• Remove trash and recyclables from guest rooms, hallways, and designated areas.
• Provide friendly and professional assistance to guests and respond to requests in a timely manner.
• Report guest concerns or service issues to leadership to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Notify maintenance staff of any equipment issues, damage, or repair needs within guest rooms or public spaces.
• Follow lost and found procedures and maintain guest privacy and security.

• Support additional housekeeping duties and special projects as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday. Candidates should be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Work is primarily performed indoors within a hotel environment but may occasionally require movement throughout the property
