What You’ll Do in This Role:


As a Residential Housekeeper, you play a vital role in creating a welcoming and vibrant community! You’ll bring energy and attention to detail as you ensure our spaces are spotless, safe, and inviting. Your work helps cultivate a comfortable environment where everyone feels right at home, and you are part of a team that strives to make every day brighter and more enjoyable for our residents.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Cleans residents’ rooms, recreational areas, offices, and hallways as assigned.
  • Clean and polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc., in resident cottages, apartments, and recreational areas.
  • Clean and sanitize all bathrooms using proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and entrance/exit ways.
  • Sweep, mop, dust, and disinfect floors.
  • Vacuum, deodorize, and disinfect carpets.
  • Clean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, and spot cleaning.
  • Remove dirt, dust, grease, and film from surfaces using appropriate cleaning solutions.
  • Discard waste and reline trash receptacles with plastic liners.
  • Clean and prepare vacant rooms for new residents as assigned.
  • Deliver and stock housekeeping supplies as needed.

What You’ll Need:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Prior housekeeping or custodial experience in a residential, healthcare, or hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, lifting, and carrying objects up to 35 pounds.
  • Must possess knowledge of the appropriate skills for communicating with individuals of all ages, especially the geriatric population.
