Minimum Qualifications

Some knowledge of cleaning procedures, ability to follow instructions, and perform medium to heavy physical work; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Special certifications may be required for some positions.

Essential Job Functions

• Floor maintenance, restroom sanitation, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, trash removal, chemical handling, security responsibilities, and operation of university vehicles as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Ability to follow instructions, lift heavy materials, work in extreme temperatures, communicate effectively, work with chemicals, and operate university vehicles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in industrial cleaning, green cleaning, and ability to work independently or in teams.

Work Schedule

2nd shift: 3:30 pm – 12:00 midnight, Monday through Friday. Weekend and emergency work may be required.

Physical Demands

Includes lifting, moving heavy objects, climbing ladders, and maneuvering heavy equipment.

Salary and Competencies

Salary range: $33,540. Demonstrates technical knowledge, interpersonal skills, customer service, communication, and safety compliance.
