Aura Senior Living located in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to create comfortable, clean spaces for residents.

You will perform housekeeping duties from lobby to resident rooms, maintain clean common areas, and support a home-like environment for seniors in care.

Qualifications

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at least at 8th grade level.
• You should have a positive and energetic attitude toward residents.
• You must be professional in appearance and conduct.
• You must be physically able to stand, walk, bend, kneel and stoop all day.
• You must lift or move up to 25 pounds and push a housekeeping cart.

Responsibilities

• Provide housekeeping services to residents to keep rooms clean and comfortable.
• Ensure common areas and rooms are tidy and well organized throughout shifts.

Housekeeper pay range: $17 - $18.75 per hour

10:30am to 3:30pm

We are looking for someone (like you)

• Make Each Room a Home: By providing housekeeping services for residents, you make each area a comfortable, clean, and cozy place to live.
• Be the Master of the Mise enScène: From behind the scenes, you ensure each area, from the lobby to the employee break room, is tidy and clean, with everything in its place.

What are we looking for?

• You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• You shall have a high school diploma, or equivalent.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with our Residents!
• You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
• You should be professional in appearance and conduct.
• You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds and push/pull a wheeled housekeeping cart.
• Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks. Good physical health shall be verified by a health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment. Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening.
• You must be criminally cleared.
