Job Summary

Under direct supervision, performs duties to maintain order, sanitation, and cleanliness in facilities. Maintains supplies as needed.

Job Specific Duties

• Maintains supplies and cleans assigned areas.
• Collects, sorts, launders, transports, and distributes linens and uniforms.
• Mends linens and assists in preventative maintenance and repair.
• Observes safety precautions in disposing of contaminated refuse.
• Operates hand tools.
• Participates in making, marking, altering, and mending clothing, linens, and other items.

Minimum Qualifications

Any combination of training and experience that would enable the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to applicants with experience in buffing and waxing floors.
