Job summary

Highgate Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe and welcoming resident spaces in a compassionate, person-first environment.

You will support daily life with dignity, partner with residents and teams, and help uphold infection control and safety standards while ensuring rooms and common areas are well kept.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have current negative TB test and background check clearance.
• Must be able to lift/transfer up to 50 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident suites and common areas according to schedules and standards.
• Uphold infection control and safety procedures.
• Operate housekeeping equipment safely and maintain supplies.
• Document tasks and report maintenance needs.
• Assist with laundry/linens and occasional room turns.

Compensation: $18.00–$20.00 per hour

Shift: Tuesday-Saturday - 6am-2:30pm

About the role

Keep residents’ homes and shared spaces clean, safe, and comfortable—supporting daily life with dignity and care.

Partner with residents and teams to maintain a welcoming environment.

What you’ll do
