Job summary

Big Horn Rehabilitation and Care Center in Sheridan, Wyoming is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team and maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and patients. This in-person role requires attention to sanitation procedures, infection control, and daily upkeep of patient rooms, common areas, and laundry spaces.

We prefer candidates with at least 1 year of housekeeping experience; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is a plus.

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Housekeeper or similar role
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is a plus

Responsibilities

• All cleaning must be done according to sanitation procedures, safety precautions, infection control, and universal precautions.
• Clean patient rooms, hallways, offices, common areas, laundry spaces and storage areas.
• Perform terminal cleaning procedures and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Report hazardous conditions and accidents to supervisor promptly.
• Duties may include other related tasks as directed by Supervisor.

Housekeeping Responsibilities

All cleaning must be done according to sanitation procedures, safety precautions, infection control, and universal precautions.

It is the responsibility of the housekeeping staff to clean the following areas: patient rooms, hallways, offices, family room, nurse’s stations, patios, main lobby, treatment rooms, laundry room and storage, employee break areas, physical therapy room, activity room, library, stairs, elevators, and entrances.

• Perform terminal cleaning procedures.

• Report all hazardous conditions and equipment to your supervisor.

• Report all accidents immediately.

• Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of all areas. Must perform regular inspections of resident rooms for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties.

• Perform other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by Supervisor.

Housekeeping Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Housekeeper or similar role

• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is a plus!
