Job summary

Inspire Neurocare in Worcester is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to help create a clean, safe and homely environment for residents and staff.

You will perform cleaning duties across bedrooms, communal areas and bathrooms, handle laundry with care, and engage with residents with empathy. The role supports growth within our Worcester team and offers a competitive package and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Infection Control, Health and Safety regulations and COSHH guidelines.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning standards and protocols, preferably within a clinical setting.
• Preferably some experience of working as a Housekeeper or within a Domestic team.
• Be flexible, solutions-focused and empathetic toward residents.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all cleaning duties to the required company standards.
• Ensure all areas (bedrooms, communal spaces, bathrooms) are clean, hygienic and well-maintained.
• Handle laundry and linen, including residents' personal items, with care.
• Interact with residents, offering assistance when needed.
• Maintain housekeeping supplies and report shortages to the manager.

As a Housekeeper at Inspire Neurocare you will help create the warm and homely surroundings that are so important to ensure we can deliver high quality care and support to all our resident's.

You will help to ensure that every room and living space within the Centre is maintained to the highest standards, providing a safe, clean and therapeutic environment for resident's, staff and visitors.

We are specifically looking for a Housekeeper to join the Worcester team to support a period of growth due to occupancy

What you'll be doing

• To carry out all cleaning duties as directed by the Housekeeping team to the required company standards.
• Ensuring all areas of the service are clean, hygienic, and well-maintained, including bedrooms, communal spaces, and bathrooms.
• Handling laundry and linen with care and attention including personal items belonging to our resident's
• Interacting with residents, offering assistance when needed
• Maintaining housekeeping supplies and reporting any shortages to the manager.
