Job summary

Augusta National Golf Club is seeking a Housekeeper to clean member and guest accommodations and all Clubhouse/public areas, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, safety, comfort, and aesthetics.

Responsibilities include stocking and requisitioning supplies, cleaning offices and guest rooms, making beds, sanitizing facilities, and reporting maintenance issues. A high school degree and 0–2 years in housekeeping (preferably in a club or hotel) are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in an effective manner in order to make members and guests feel welcome.
• 0 - 2 years’ housekeeping experience, preferably in a club, hotel, or institutional environment; or
• Previous experience working in Housekeeping Department at ANGC
• High school degree or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Requisitions and stock supplies as needed in each accommodation or building.
• Cleans and sanitizes office spaces, reception areas, restrooms, and other common areas.
• Strips and remakes beds with fresh linens.
• Empties all waste baskets and ashtrays, vacuums, and tidies guest rooms.
• Wipes all windowsills and light switches; dust all furniture.
• Wipes all mirrors and checks windows each day.
• Checks heating, air conditioning and general maintenance of assigned area daily.
• Reports any problems to the Housekeeping Manager.
• Cleans and sanitizes toilets, showers, tubs, lavatories, and fixtures.
• Cleans walls, baseboards and floors as needed and when preparing for a new guest in the accommodation.
• Replenishes towels, wash cloths, soap, glasses, and other amenities per set levels.
• Performs other duties which are deemed by management to be an important part of the job
• Submits maintenance requests to Housekeeping Manager or Service Support Assistant in a timely manner.

• Cleans and sanitizes office spaces, reception areas, restrooms, and other common areas.

• Constantly required to walk and work with hands and fingers, lift up to 40 pounds and/or drive a golf cart.

• Constantly required to stand and walk, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach with hands and arms.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs other duties which are deemed by management to be an important part of the job

• Submits maintenance requests to Housekeeping Manager or Service Support Assistant in a timely manner.

• Complete Service Support Assistant duties if necessary.

Relative Experience/Education:

• 0 - 2 years’ housekeeping experience, preferably in a club, hotel, or institutional environment; or

• Previous experience working in Housekeeping Department at ANGC

• High school degree or equivalent required

Required License(s):

• Possess a valid driver’s license and/or successfully completes the Club’s internal motor vehicle training program

Projected Work Schedule:

Must be available for a varying work schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
