Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW) is hiring a Housekeeper to ensure villa interiors meet the highest standards and guest expectations. You will clean kitchens, bathrooms, dining areas, and bedrooms, restock amenities, and report conditions to supervisors.

The role emphasizes guest comfort, teamwork, and adherence to safety policies in a welcoming, service-focused environment. Availability for varied shifts including weekends and holidays is required; training is provided and growth

Qualifications

• Available to work various shifts, holidays and weekends.
• Able to reach, bend, stand for extended periods.
• Lift up to 25 lbs and handle guest amenities as required.
• Background and drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Clean villas (Kitchens, Bathrooms, Dining Rooms, Bedrooms) according to standards.
• Completes assigned rooms and tasks within the scheduled shift.
• Replaces all guest amenities such as linens, towels, toiletries, and kitchen items according to standards.
• Reports room status to the Main Linen Room, Housekeeping Manager/Supervisor, or Front Desk.
• Fills the Housekeeping cart/caddy with all necessary supplies/chemicals, transports the cart/caddy to the rooms, and returns the cart to the designated area at the end of the shift.
• Follows all company policies and procedures; reports any maintenance problems, safety hazards, and/or accidents.
• Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs.
• Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
• Contribute to team goals.

As a Housekeeper, a typical day will include:

• Cleans the entirety of villas (Kitchens, Bathrooms, Dining Rooms, Bedrooms) according to standards.

• Completes assigned rooms and tasks within the scheduled shift.

To Become a Housekeeper at MVW:

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.

• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.

• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 25lbs without assistance.

• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
