Job summary

CareOne at Wilmington in Wilmington, MA is hiring a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. The role offers hourly pay of $16.25–$19.25, with compensation based on experience, qualifications, credentials, status and schedule.

Part-time (22.5+ hours/week) and full-time roles are available with a strong benefits package. Primary duties include cleaning, trash removal, restocking supplies, equipment upkeep, and ensuring a healthy work

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1 year of related experience

Responsibilities

• Maintaining facility by cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing.
• Removing miscellaneous debris by removing trash.
• Refilling hand towel and toilet paper dispensers; cleaning bathrooms.
• Cleaning floors by washing and vacuuming floors.
• Maintaining furnishings by dusting and polishing furniture; cleaning and polishing glass surfaces.
• Keeping supplies ready by restocking housekeeping supplies; ordering new supplies as needed.
• Keeping equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; calling for repairs.
• Maintaining safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with security regulations.
• Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Enhancing housekeeping reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

The Housekeeper Is Responsible For, But Not Limited To

• Maintaining facility by cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing.
• Removing miscellaneous debris by removing trash.
• Refreshing bath area by cleaning toilet, and sinks; refilling hand towel and toilet paper dispensers.
• Cleaning floors by washing and vacuuming floors.
• Maintaining furnishings by dusting and polishing furniture; cleaning and polishing glass surfaces.
• Keeping supplies ready by restocking housekeeping supplies; ordering new supplies as needed.
• Keeping equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
• Maintaining safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with security regulations.
• Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Enhancing housekeeping reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Position Requirements
